Suep

“To be filed under ‘perfect pop music.’”  - Marc Riley, BBC6

“SUEP playfully subvert every little life-struggle into cohesively winsome tunes.”  - The Quietus

“SUEP deconstruct pop tropes in order to find a fresh space to assert themselves.” - Clash Magazine

South London underground favourites SUEP share the second single from their debut album Forever out 27th of March, via Memorials of Distinction, with the self-explanatory genre exploration ‘Country SUEP’. A plodding journey through the wild wild west of singer Joshua Harvey’s mind. Along with this comes news of their first headline tour in several years, across key cities in the UK. Full details below.

Following from the glistening synth-jangle-groove of ‘Highway II’, ‘Country SUEP’ perfectly shows the other side of the SUEP coin. With Joshua Harvey taking up the world-weary lead vocals, co-bandleader Georgie Stott replies to his calls with perfect responses and harmonies, with eventually the whole band jamming out a ragtime piano solo outro, lead on both guitar and piano by George Nicholls.

Eva May

Hailing from Bristol, Eva May spent her childhood singing in choirs which has left a mark on her musical style with lush ethereal vocal arrangements. Her first single, Where Does The Time Go, was released in 2024 on Full Time Hobby. The song was written on her family piano, drawing a connection to her younger self whilst navigating growing older.
