About the Event: > Welcome to the inaugural pilot screening of the Queer Folk Horror Club in the basement of Café Kino!
We are a non-profit community cinema and discussion bringing together fans of the weird, eerie, and subcultural. Beyond the screen, each monthly session goes into an informal, low-pressure discussion exploring the rich intersections of folk horror, hauntology, land memory, spiritual itches, and queer outsider identity.
☕ Venue Info & Ethos: > Café Kino is a non-profit, worker-owned vegan cooperative. Hot food and drinks are served upstairs until 9:30 PM, with a 15% discount available for event organisers and attendees. Any outside snacks brought into the venue must strictly adhere to Café Kino's 100% vegan policy.
