Cafe Kino is a queer led venue and the puppet shows will reflect this. There will be a range of stories being told through different styles of puppetry.

This will be mostly seated, but with some standing, get in touch if you will need a seat. No one turned away for lack of funds

✧☆ Line up ☆✧

Raluca Bobis is a visual artist whose work brings to life surreal creatures and floaty landscapes inspired by folklore and imaginary realms.

They will present a shadow puppet show filled with whimsical and eerie characters, like a dream state, a fluid territory where logic dissolves and the boundaries between the human and natural world blur.

Come and see Rewilding Garden, accompanied by recorded compositions and soundscapes by Silver Ley & Sarahsson

Robin Belcher (they/them)
Robin is a lesbian actor and puppeteer, dabbling in drag. Their work spans going to the stars, getting lost in forests or freaking out about girls. They like clowns, Greek mythology and silliness.
They will be performing their show Everything Is Fine.

Sunshine News
Petit Filou and Grand Loup are a duo of dancers and puppet makers, music players, storytellers, do-it-yourself self-sufficient artist who travel around with all their props. Silly troubadoers with a sometimes dark sense of humor, who like to gather people so that we can stick out our tongue at all men in suits.

Puppeteer / Puppet-Maker Robin O’Connor will be teaming up with Musical Improviser Hector Who Lived for a one off musical-puppet journey. There will be laughs. There will be tears. Come and feel something.
