Fourth Page at Cafe Kino
£6.00

A gig held at Cafe Kino on Wednesday 20th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Fourth Page come to Bristol as part of a 5 date tour supporting the physical release of their latest album 'Fourth Page - Live Wales - Hungary' on The 52nd label.

Fourth Page's music is improvised. Some of it sounds like it wasn't. Fragments of jazz, trace elements of the more experimental side of English folk and even Krautrock surface in a quietly intense music that floats effortlessly between dark, stretched songforms and impressionist abstraction.

Charlie Beresford - voice/guitar
Carolyn Hume - keyboards
Peter Marsh - bass
Paul May - drums

“For lovers of song who are dubious about the merits of improvised music, Fourth Page could prove an ideal gateway into the wonderful world of improv—likewise, for improv fans who fight shy of popular song. In fact, it is difficult to imagine who this quartet would not appeal to...” ALL ABOUT JAZZ
