on Saturday 15th June. The event starts at 20:00.
The fourth outing for our noisy and slightly shambolic club night Kollaps will take place on Saturday 15th June. We'd love you to join us.
GUM TAKES TOOTH (live): Thrillingly explosive rhythm'n' dirt duo from London town, recently described by The Quietus as"a blitzkrieg of inertia-inducing electronic dissonance and twitchy, narcotic-withdrawal percussion, like a filthy, squat-rave raise...d take on Lightning Bolt. " http://www.soundcloud.com/tigertrap/sets/gum-takes-tooth-silent
THE NATIONAL GRID (live): Atmospheric urban minimal noise from Kobe, Japan with roots in punk, industrial, ambient music, Detroit techno and drum & bass. The National Grid is the latest alias of ex-pat Englishman DJ an0n (Appliance Japan / Vacant Room). He hasn't played in the UK for many years and we're extremely chuffed to be the ones to welcome him home. http://www.appliance-gen.org/artists/the-national-grid-loran-c
BIG JOAN (live): Bass, beats, guitar and synth racket...and a howling, horn-helmeted Valkyrie who summons the spirits of dead heroes via an ancient telephone. http://www.bigjoan.bandcamp.com/
Y CVn (live): Brand new live drums and synths outfit comprising Aron Ward (Color of the Sun) and John Bell (Model Boat), last seen together as half of the brilliant Raiders. A precarious, hyperactive blend of cosmic electronica, no wave disco and post-hardcore dynamics.
+ The BIG JOAN DJs Extended Family featuring MANTIS GEISHA and DJ AN0N, excavating a throbbing vein of synthrock, industrial, electronica, hip-hop, post-punk, dub, techno, kosmische, radioactive pop, drum & bass, dancehall, noise-rock, condemned disco, unspeakable schlager hits and various points between.
