Backhand Vol. 4 is a Bristol-based, artist-led exhibition bringing together a group of local creatives to respond to this year’s theme, “Cracking.” Founded by Jacob Faulkner and Sam Brentnall, the project focuses on experimentation, collaboration, and making contemporary art accessible to a wider audience.

Taking place at Centerspace Gallery, the exhibition showcases a mix of illustration, painting, design, and mixed media work from emerging and mid-career artists.

Alongside the exhibition, there’s an energetic programme of events including workshops, live elements, and an artist market running throughout. The opening night also features a raffle, with additional activities and performances across the week.
