See event details

A event held at Centrespace Gallery on Saturday 22nd March. The event starts at 15:30.

HerStory: Red Thread- is a movement performance bringing image of a red thread that symbolise connection with the Earth and personal mythologies. The performance is exploring the invisible red thread that connects her to her mothers and the Mother Earth as well as other people.

She is the dynamic centre of unfolding reality within and around. Through the red thread she is expanding on her feelings, thoughts that she and us carry. Going down and stretching out the roots of the pain, constrictions, pre-judgements, joy, freedom and love of everyday. The red thread with knots, tight holdings, connections, lose ends.

The red thread is not only story of hers it is ours. It is clear lines, confusing patterns and precious crossovers we create together. This performance will make a space for you to ponder on her or your story whilst being involved in the movement exploration of pushes and pulls in the meshwork of meanings, feelings and connections, creating the web of life we live in.

Come and create a magic with us!
