Join local artist Jasmine Smail at the Women by Women.3 exhibition at Centrespace gallery in this workshop exploring papier mache and paper sculpting. You will learn to create your own little trinket or keepsake entirely out of paper and recycled materials. Jasmine will guide you on paper sculpting techniques so you can create the wonderfully handmade keepsake of your dreams. This workshop is great for all ages and abilities - everyone is welcome!
Jasmine is a local artist and creative practitioner who specialises in sculpture and drawing. She LOVES all things papier mache and junk modelling and loves to share her unique making style with others. Jasmine has facilitated workshops across the Southwest from nurseries and Primary Schools to prominent galleries such as Spike Island, Arnolfini and Hauser and Wirth. @artist.jasminesmail
Jasmine is hosting this workshop at Centrespace gallery as part of the third Women by Women exhibition. During this workshop, you will also have a chance to explore and be inspired by some of the pieces surrounding you from the show.
What is it?
This is an introduction to paper sculpture and paper mache. You will create your own keepsake to take away with you to treasure and display at home. Perfect for gifts to a loved one or yourself!
What to expect?
Getting messy, sculpting, collaging and chatting
What to bring?
All materials will be provided but please bring something to take your keepsake home in like a plastic container.

The gallery can be found via an alleyway either uneven ground.
