Art is Alive at Centrespace Gallery
See event details

A event held at Centrespace Gallery on Sunday 23rd March. The event starts at 16:30.

As part of the EDGELANDS exhibition by Day School Arts, this workshop will be exploring exhibited art in the Centrespace gallery and finding new creative ways to see the artwork through authentic movement responses and intuitive drawings. This will be a creative conversation between the art, oneself and others where we become more aware of the space, our bodies. We will have an opportunity to open up to different ways how we perceive art and our bodies in the gallery spaces and beyond.

The workshop is run by Bibiana Krauskova- somatic movement practitioner and performance artist who uses holistic movement practices, imaginary and different art mediums to explore a variety of movements, and at the same to hold a space for emotional and mental awareness that comes from the moving bodies.

This is open to all, no experience needed. Bring some warm layers, comfortable clothes to move in, a water bottle and your curious self :)

Entry requirements: 16+
