Mycelial SoundBath with Hat & Amber at Centrespace Gallery

A event held at Centrespace Gallery on Sunday 30th October. The event starts at 18:00.

This session will combine Amber Bardell’s practice using singing bowls and percussive instruments
with Hat Fidkin’s recordings of the biorhythms of medicinal mushrooms, played through a modular synthesiser.

You are welcome to experience the sound bath however best suits you, but it is recommended that you lie on a mat on the floor with closed eyes. Please bring your own yoga mat, blanket and cushion for ultimate comfort . [we will have a few spare for those that need them]

Please note that this experience may not be suitable if you have extreme health concerns or are in the first 15 weeks of pregnancy.

Please get in touch regarding any access requirements or queries you may have.

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath is a group meditation session in which you are surrounded by the restorative sounds of singing bowls (and in this case, electronic music too!) You don’t need any experience with meditation or sound baths to join. These sessions commonly improve sleep, reduce stress, and bring about an overall feeling of being recharged.

We will start with a short spoken meditation before the sound begins. The sounds will move around the room and build into a truly immersive soundscape. At the end of the session, you will have time to rest and reflect on your experience.
