Private Viewing for an exhibition hosted by young creatives across Bristol and Bath
As SWYC's first public event prior to the exhibition, we are hosting a private viewing of the exhibition including a small event to showcase DJ’s, producers and rappers based throughout Bath and Bristol. This evening will also include a collaboration with the new streetwear clothing brand, Zaded where there will be clothes and accessories on sale. The event is sponsored by Fierce & Noble, a Bristol based brewery. In order to raise money for SWYC, tickets are £2 and available through Headfirst Bristol.
The artists’ work is a response to existence in a modern society in which human consciousness is affected by AI technology and how we challenge and experience this conflicted relationship. Each artist works in a multidisciplinary fashion which is a reflection upon the working environment of SWYC. This exhibition presents painting, film, installation and print from various different female artists.
Featuring: Tara Jettoo, Sarah Garland De Carvalho, Ellie Fincham, Gabbi Virk and Emily McIlroy
SWYC (South West Young Creatives) is a newly founded art collective involving predominantly female, multidisciplinary creatives between the ages of 16 and 24.
