Elliot Hall, Winner of Bristol the viper music songwriting competition featuring over 100 singer songwriters from the South West, has now teamed up with Rapunzel.
Rapunzel who used to front rockabilly band'betty and the page' turned her back on a major record deal with rockabilly label'shark records' to sing the music of her soul.
The project was born out of Rapunzel's growing frustration with many of Elliot's best songs being thrown in the bin. 'You can't throw songs like that away' she said. 'I can' he said ....... ' i can't sing'em anyway. 'i can' she said. So they started with'home' one of elliot's best forgotten songs.....surprisingly Rapunzels golden, soul voice and Elliot's broken hobo rumble was a match and she plucked that wreckless, scruffy, wildboy out of the gutter and decided to push him heaven bound...we will see if she gets her wish......
We will open tonight with Spanish guitar with the talented Rebecca Forsyth.
