Walk and Picnic at Chew Magna

A event on Saturday 9th May. The event starts at 12:30.

Let’s be honest: making friends as an adult is weird. It’s even weirder when you feel like the only queer woman in your office or your friendship group. That’s why we do this. No screens, no loud music, just a proper walk through Chew Magna to clear the cobwebs. We’ll be out for about 2 hours at a steady pace. It’s not a race; it’s a chance to actually finish a conversation without being interrupted.

The Picnic Instead of the usual pub stop, we’re keeping it outdoors. Bring a blanket and whatever bits you fancy eating. We’ll find a spot to sit, share some snacks, and actually get to know each other.

What to Expect

Friendly Faces: Whether you’re coming solo (most people do!) or bringing a mate, you won't be the odd one out.

Zero Pressure: Just walking and talking.

The Landscape: Beautiful Chew Valley views and hopefully a bit of sun.

Who’s Invited? Every woman-loving-woman. Trans women, bi and pan women, non-binary folks who feel at home in women’s spaces, you are all welcome.

The Essentials

Shoes: It’s Chew Magna. It** can be muddy. Wear boots or trainers you don't mind ruining.
Food: Bring a picnic and plenty of water.
Date: Saturday 9th May | Time: 12:30pm
