All the way from Italy we have psychedelic producer extraordinaire Clap! Clap! for a rare UK appearance. Hippo Sound System providing their explosive live fusion of afrolatin rhythms, hip hop and bass music. With DJs Ru Robinson and Hiphoppapotamus tying it all together with tropical party selections from Afrobeat to Jungle!

Bringing together disparate inspirations and styles from African field recordings to psychedelic bass music, Clap Clap has very unique sound with a special attention to texture and atmosphere. Previously a jazz musician, he emerged onto the dance music scene in 2013. He has since released multiple critically acclaimed albums, music featured in major movies and video games, and support from Giles Peterson and other tastemakers. This is a special opportunity to see on of the most unique producer and performers in the world play in the Uk for the first time since 2019.

~ Hippo Sound System Ft. Franz Von & Feline ~
Hippo Sound System are a hybrid live/electronic group that blend Afro-Latin rhythms with their favourite elements of dance music such as Jungle, Hip Hop, Breaks, House and Dub! They recently released their long-awaited debut album Origins in April 2023. Along with their singles and remixes since 2018, the album has received wide- spread praise, and they have now gained much traction with Spotify curator playlist features, and airtime on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Radio 6 from Jeremiah Asiamiah, Craig Charles and Don Letts! Special guest collaborator MC Franz Von (Zongo Brigade) joins this set for each fire power alongside their usual vocal maestro Feline.
