Extended Turntablism showcases artists exploring the midpoint between sonic improvisation and rhythmic syncopation using modified turntables as their starting point.

Longer bio:

Furrowed (Dylan Beattie) makes and plays weird records. He is a producer, lecturer and sound artist using circuit-bent record making equipment and electronics to create one-off performances. As part of this unique approach, sound is ‘tattooed’ live to blank disc by hand as multiple pickups trace grooves in modified surfaces. Expect lo-fi looping, clicks, pops and crunch as records are made, celebrated and destroyed.

Duplokit
Lathe cutting journeymen on a quest to further the exploration of rhythm, sonic groove theory and the boundaries of turntablism. Their UK debut, all the way from Aotearoa, New Zealand! Visuals by Misled Convoy
