Atlas By Oddly Moving
(At Circomedia)

Atlas explores the original Greek myth interwoven with personal stories about the metaphorical weight we each bear, told through physical theatre, storytelling and circus skills.

Atlas was punished by the Gods to hold the weight of the cosmos for a long time – perhaps an eternity. He’s not sure if he is a man or a mountain or a giant. His back hurts. He wonders what would happen if he just let go. Oddly Moving’s new show explores the Greek myth of Atlas interwoven with personal stories about the metaphorical weight we each bear or let go of. Addressing themes of choice, responsibility and the individual worlds that define us.

Doors open at 19:00
Show starts at 19:30
