Seeta Patel – Visiting Dance Artist Workshop

Unpacking the foundations of this Classical Indian dance form, this workshop with seminal, award-winning artist Seeta Patel introduces the form’s key elements.
Honouring Bharatanatyam’s rich heritage, this day long workshop for professional dance artists, dance teachers and dance students age 16+ (of any movement practice), focuses on the form’s fundamental storytelling principles and will include creative exercises and insight into Seeta’s process.
Please note we will be delving into how to engage with diasporic art forms in a contemporary context with sensitivity and respect.
