"Listen to your elders! Come hear the St. Paul’s Caribbean community talk about the pivotal figures of the Windrush generation and narrate a personal account of the Carnival’s place in UK culture."

In celebration of 75 years of Windrush, join St Pauls Carnival for an evening of storytelling from local people and community pioneers as part of the St Pauls Carnival Fringe.
Inspired by the format of Human Libraries and our previously popular Library events, our guest speakers will become Human Books as they share their personal experiences surrounding the Windrush Generation. Using this year’s Carnival theme ‘Learning from Legends’, they’ll reflect on the many trailblazers from the Caribbean community and how they’ve impacted our lives.
Learn, talk and listen with the community with this special opportunity to highlight the Windrush milestone and revisit the story of Black Britain and beyond. Our past, our future. Our very own living library!
