"The Cable activismcast continues its trailblazing run of live interviews with reporters, academics and agitators. This month they’re throwing the doors of City Hall wide open with Carnival executive director LaToyah McAllister-Jones; she’ll be discussing the Citizens of Culture community-first arts initiative and answering the questions your MP has been dodging."

A event on Tomorrow. The event starts at 19:00.
LaToyah McAllister-Jones joins The Bristol Cable’s sharpest journalists for a live podcast conversation unpacking Citizens for Culture, right after the UK’s first Citizens’ Assembly for Culture in the West of England.
Expect bold questions, fresh perspectives and a deep dive into what sharing power with citizens really means for culture and decision-making.
Citizens for Culture is a partnership between St Pauls Carnival, Trinity Community Arts, Citizens In Power and the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.
We will be hosting this conversation in the Main Chamber of the City Hall. It’s a chance to open up a civic space and bring these questions into a shared, public setting. It will centre around community activism, amplify underrepresented voices and spark honest debate. With a break and an open Q&A at the end, audiences are invited to join the conversation and shape what comes next.
