We’ll be grooving to hits inspired by Karol G, one of the unstoppable queen of Reggaeton who’s breaking records and putting Latin beats on every global dance floor. Expect powerful moves, Latin attitude and pure dance floor fire – Latina Foreva!
Guided by TropicaDance, an Afro-Cuban dancer with a rich background in Afro-Latin styles, we’ll connect with the Afro-diasporic roots of reggaeton — a street-born dance shaped by cultural strength and defiance
What to expect:
- Dance studio with proper floor and mirrors
- Warm-up rooted in body movement for reggaeton style
- Breakdown of key steps from reggaeton and perreo
- Full individual choreography, taught step-by-step creating in the moment by @td_cuba
-
- A queer space to dance and move together as a group and as a community
- 30 mins at the end to film the choreo all together and dance
This workshop is open to all levels. It's for anyone who wants to connect with the reggaeton genre and style , explore their own movement, and take home a recording of the moment.
