Perception by Introspect at Clifton Community Bookshop
See event details

A event on Friday 29th October. The event starts at 20:00.

It's Black History Month and we are celebrating with poetry at the Clifton Community Bookshop. Our free evening of spoken word with artists Ash, Solomon O.B. and Jemma Hathaway.
Ash is a talented spoken word artist whose poetry has elements of comedy and rings true in a deeply existential way.
Solomon O.B. is a poet and musician, UK Slam Champion, a well-known face on the Bristol scene. He is an insightful storyteller, who takes his influence from hip hop and jazz, creating an idiosyncratic poetic experience.
Jemma Hathaway wrote a poem for each day of January and created a body of work, that is a deeply moving. Her work is strong and sits powerfully working its way into your experience.
