The Global Gaza Kite weekend at Clifton downs

In August this year, Israel made a threat to Palestianinas in Gaza, that any kites seen being flown would be treated as hostile targets..

Kite flying is a cherished cultural tradtional in Gaza, children their summers gathering simples items like; wooden sticks, colorful paper or nylon, and string to craft them. Often decorated with peace symbols and Palestian flags, this tradition is used to celebrate childhood, joy, resilience and a profound symbol of Palestine...

Join the Bristol Palestinians Saturday 12th Septmeber 2pm - 5pm for the global Gaza kite Weekend... happening nationally...

Fly a kite for Palestine, show your Solidarity and let children play.......

Please bring a kite if you have one, but if you don't we will be provinding mateirals to make you own :)
