A
event
on Sunday 31st July. The event starts at 14:30.
Clifton Amateur Dramatic Society & Friends of Clifton Centre and Library bring you an abridged version of the Taming of the Shrew.
In one of Shakespeare's most outrageous comedies, two misfits fight and flirt their way into an unconventional marriage. Taming of the Shrew (abridged) tells the story of a "shrewish" woman who disagrees with everyone, especially her mother. You can expect mistaken identities, cross-dressing and a battle of the sexes, all performed in the heart of Clifton Village.
The show starts in the courtyard of Clifton Library. We will then move locations to the Mall Gardens so please bring picnic blankets / folding chairs if you wish.
