Private Joy at Cloak and Dagger, The

A gig on Saturday 4th February. The event starts at 19:30.

As part of Independent Venue Week Cloak and Dagger are delighted to have Private Joy up on the stage to kick of the Saturday night!

Join Bristol jam stalwarts, Rob Knight, Rob Beckley, Stephen Findlay on their maiden band outing at Bristol's unique new venue. Private Joy is a nod to the electism of genre bending musical genius Prince. Expect a night of soul, reggae, Afro beat enthused original tunes. that'll make your head nod and get your feet moving.

Supporting Private Joy, we have Fletcher James. Bristol based singer, songwriter, and producer. After years spent honing his style, he’s hitting his stride with a confident and progressive sound that’s all his own. Shying away from the path more travelled, he employs heartfelt and deeply melodic vocals laced with the wordplay of hip hop and layers them atop a framework of unorthodox song structures and lush chord progressions. Drawing from a myriad of influences ranging from blues to bedroom pop, he carves a lane of his own, with his unique sound growing bolder with each release.

This event will be downstairs in our Carousel for information on accessibility please email [email protected]
