Amqueer Theatre Workshop at Cloak

A event held at Cloak on Monday 8th April. The event starts at 19:00.

mqueer is a amateur dramatics group facilitating people to play with and grow their acting skills. After running a host of successful classes and workshops over the past 2 years, Alec is back to facilitate people who want to hone their skills or try something new. Amqueer is a supportive environment for performers to push themselves and learn new skills, focusing on Queer and LGBTQ+ stories.

This darama workshop will be beginner based taking short scene, AB scripts (involving 2 characters) and learning how to analyse scripts. This will involve learning how to flesh out characters, create backstory and covey motives.
