Lights, Camera, Improv at Cloak

A event held at Cloak on Thursday 14th March. The event starts at 20:00.

Lights, Camera, Improv! Enjoy a double bill of film and TV-inspired improv starring two local Bristol groups, Beansville and Redpython.

Beansville presents: VIDEO STORE
Welcome to the video store! Pick your favourite genre, make up the movie title you’d like to see, and we’ll improvise the rest. Of course, if the video wasn’t properly rewound last time, we might accidentally start with the final scene... don’t worry, we’ll figure it out. Come rent a wholly improvised movie from the racks of the video store, based on your suggestions. No late fees. No script.

Beansville is a Bristol-based improv group specialising in narrative improv. Performing since 2020, Beansville are known for storytelling, genre, solid puns, and only occasionally descending into total chaos.

Redpython
A comical, completely improvised romp through the annals of history. Follow our dashing, daring and (occasionally) dim-witted protagonist, Redpython as they muddle their way through some of the silliest situations in history.
