Prompter at Cloak
£6 in advance / £7 on the door

A gig held at Cloak on Thursday 18th July. The event starts at 19:30.

In celebration of their new single, Mute the Sunbeams, from their upcoming second EP, This Verdant Land, Prompter are playing an intimate show at Cloak with support from Ladye and Stan Elliott and the Easy Peelers.

This Verdant Land is the culmination of three years of playing on the Bristol music scene and their most polished release to date. Taking inspiration from the likes of Modest Mouse, Big Thief, Queens of the Stone age, Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, Dinosaur Junior and Daughter. Prompter’s sound combines big riffs with rough and emotive vocals to create irresistible alt rock and indie.

Ladye are an indie rock three piece from Bristol. Drawing inspiration from Wolf Alice, Alvvays and The Cure, their sound is a fusion of nostalgic dream-pop that blends seamlessly into energetic shoegaze.

Stan Elliott and his band, The Easy Peelers, will mesmerise you with a theatrical splendour of sound. Prepare to be catapulted into a soulful stratosphere, laced with indie melodies, with twists of blues and rock-steady alternative rhythms that will make your mouth water. You won’t forget it in a hurry.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
