SMTG : Bristol Ballroom Community at Cloak

A event held at Cloak on Wednesday 20th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Week 3 in the intimate, living-room vibes of Cloak for another exciting talk in our residency with Bristol's Ballroom Community

Ballroom is a performance space started in the 1980s in New York as a priority space celebrating queer and trans people of colour

Bristol's Ballroom Community has blossomed in the past 2 years, hosting regular social functions, having members belong to international houses, and hosting its own Kiki House of Old Navy Chapter

We'll be talking about this growth from some members of the community who have presided over the group's evolution, teaching some history of ballroom, with lots of insights and perspectives to share

The event will feature a 20-minute talk, some time for Q & As and then just some cute mingling time in the lovely space of Cloak

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
