Sober Queers Queer Joy Poetry Workshop at Cloak

A event held at Cloak on Wednesday 3rd January. The event starts at 18:30.

What does queer joy feel like for you? If you could imagine a queer utopia, what would that look like?
Join poet, Aish Humphreys and Sober Queers for this workshop where we'll be exploring our personal experiences of queer joy and Utopias as well as looking at others interpretations of this through poetry and prose. We'll be doing individual and group exercises that will give you a starting off point for writing about your joy in a way that honours your lived experience. This workshop is for anyone looking to explore joy through these heavy times and to give you a safe space to share and write.
please be aware that this is a sober event and no alcohol or drugs are permitted in the workshop space.
