Kennedy and Cahloun at The Cloak and Dagger

A gig held at The Cloak and Dagger on Valentines Day. The event starts at 20:00.

Kennedy:
Bristol singer songwriter with a unique and compelling style, melding folk blues with indie sensibilities, Kennedy's dynamic and well crafted performances found him sharing a stage on many occasions with fellow collaborator Guy Calhoun, playing solo, duo and ensemble sets in and around Bristol and at numerous UK festivals including Ashton Court Community Festival, St. Pauls Carnival and Glastonburys Avalon Stage when their music was likened in the official festival programme to the sounds of Radio Head and Tim Buckley.

Guy Calhoun:
Increasingly recognised as one of Bristol’s most accomplished singer-songwriters, Guy Calhoun’s rounded voice, crisp acoustic guitar and well -crafted songs reveal his clear heritage from classic British contemporary predecessors like John Martin, Nick Drake and Richard Thompson.

Guy once featured as the live guest musician on Radio 4's Loose Ends and has recorded and performed with musicians and producers from a widely diverse musical spectrum including DJ SUV, Broadway Project, Gorgon Sound, Tomorrow's Warriors, Pee Wee Ellis, Armagideon Sounds, the Easy Access Horns, James Morton and Stanton Warriors.

Founder member of the legendary Dub from Atlantis band, multi instrumentalist and Dub producer, Guy has a unique vocal and guitar style that is influenced by a wide range of genres including Roots Reggae, Soul Jazz, Latin, Funk and Blues.
