This evening has a complete focus on how to eat meat ethically using sustainable suppliers, respecting countryside, encouraging natural wildlife and most importantly learning not to waste anything.
We source our meat through Buxton Butchers who are working closely with Farm Wilder to promote a sustainable ethos across the South West. Britain’s countryside is being devastated by intensive farming. Hedgehogs, Tree Sparrows, Cuckoos, Turtle Doves and many butterflies and bees have declined by over 90%.
Buying Farm Wilder food and drink supports more sustainable agriculture and helps to bring our wildlife back.
Tim from Farm Wilder will be here to talk about his proactive vision focusing on how farming is approached in this country and what can be done to protect our natural resources.
We will be serving a 4 course set menu, paired with local beers, wines and hand-crafted spirits from local producers Wyld Orchard @ Creative Juices (www.creativejuices.bar)
As part of the evening they will be introducing you to a selection of crafted fruit liqueurs and talking about some exiting upcoming workshops about home fermentation & making your own delicious & healthy foods and drinks.
This evening is advanced booking only. More details are to follow but to register interest in this event please email us at [email protected]
