Lady Casita has created her own eclectic style when it comes to her DJ sets. She is inspired by the sounds and styles of electro, Detroit Techno, Acid House, NY disco and Chicago house from the nightlife of Danceteria, Limelight, Studio 54 and Paradise Garage to the warehouse parties she found herself at in 80s London.
Her sets have been described as a fun, quirky cornucopia, mixing up different genres of house and techno together with vibey beats and bassy grooves. Based in Bristol, Casita has established herself as a DJ who puts her all into the music she plays, with a passion for underground house and techno, especially the sound of acid.
The last 2 and a half years have seen her gracing the stages in Ibiza and the UK, playing for party brands Funkagenda, Wait...What ? Ibiza and more recently pioneering techno brand Black Codes Experiments. She also co-runs house and garage club night Major G with her DJ partner Rosie Riot. Every month you can also catch her hosting her own radio shows ‘Dancefloor Deviant’ on BCFM and Decadance UK radio. This Summer you can also catch her playing at Big Love Festival and Boomtown Fair.
She has also delved into the world of music production in lockdown and her first track ‘Dance Deep’ made in collaboration with established producer Dr Moody has recently been signed to dance music label Bring the Noise Recordings.
