Debauched Tales at The Cloak and Dagger

A event held at The Cloak and Dagger on Thursday 10th March. The event starts at 19:00.

Since time immemorial, we humans have pleasured and self-pleasured through both the oral..ahem..and written word. In the first of our Debauched Tales evenings, we present a saucy and succulent recipe of recitations hand-picked from across the ages. From the morning glory twitch of Chaucer through to the eloquent yet eager boldness of James Joyce, from the deshabille dirt of Anais Nin, the down home honesty of Sapphire through to the early erotic stirrings of Sappho. Please join us for a night of silken shivers and quirky quims. All presented in the best possible literary taste.

And if we inspire you then why not fellate us with your own debauched tale? You can perform a passage or excerpt on the night from your favourite sticky pages or slip your story into the Confessions to Eros box for one of us to read on the night.

But above all let us leave our lit crit at the door as we invite you to slip onto something more comfortable and let your ears do all the work as our readers titillate, satiate and verbiate for your pleasure.

Cloak and Dagger is an independent grassroots venue. This event takes place for over 18's only, downstairs in "The Carousel" for information on accessibility please email [email protected]
