The District at The Cloak and Dagger

A gig held at The Cloak and Dagger on Thursday 17th November. The event starts at 19:00.

The District is a UK based underground music event. We showcase local artists who have some serious talent. However unlike other events, we are not exclusive to singular genres.
A brief history of The District...
The District is a rebrand of an event I set up. District 2, as it was originally called, was an event that provided a platform for troubled youths in Brighton. Whilst teaching basic music production and studio engineering in my mentoring classes, I utilized the skills the learnt, and coordinated 3 events. The idea of The District is to utilize the same goals originally set out. To help artists develop their music careers but also provide a platform for upcoming artists.

Red Label is a small record label I set up back in late 2018. The idea behind Red Label is to provide the support for musicians and artist's to progress their music and to also be a part of a platform, but on the other hand not have to worry about unfair and restrictive contracts. Originally starting in a small rented out space I converted it into a studio. We are now looking to build a collective of musicians and artists to expand as a organization.
