BREAK PRESENTS: BREAK THE SYSTEM

A brand new series celebrating sound system culture at Bristol’s best underground venue.

Joining us for vol.1 is obviously the man himself, Break. One of the most influential artists in the drum and bass scene and pioneer of the reputable Symmetry Recordings.

We’re going in heavy, doubling down on the pre existing in house Void AND Danley system at Clock Factory for his arrival.

For the few who aren't familiar, his undoubtedly wicked combination of funk and hard gritty bass has been dominating the scene for over 20 years, with his signature sound represented on the most prominent labels in the industry including: Metalheadz, Shogun Audio, and Critical Music. And of course, the DJs DJ, is to be joined by the MCs, MC, Mr. GQ.

Next up: Molecular, a regular on the Sofa Sound label, delivering true Bristol drum and bass sound as his own entity and part of the Business As Usual trio. Rolling. Funky. Techy DnB. Everything you’d expect from the Break The System line up.

On support duties, Kira fits the bill! Labelled as one of DJ Mag's Six Emerging Artists this year, she is returning to support Break once again after tearing up the Symmetry stage at Hospitality on the Beach.

And last but by no means least, we’ve got some true local Bristol support, DJ Pixi. The mastermind behind Clock Factory's infamous BOG, this artist will show you everything you should know about old school drum and bass music.
