A
gig
held at Bristol Beacon Foyer
on Wednesday 27th March. The event starts at 19:30.
Nico Casal is better known for composing film soundtracks but now he has created a soundtrack to his life. Whilst struggling to survive, Spanish born Nico wrote his debut album “Alone” in his tiny East London Bedroom. The album reflects on his life and a year of highs and lows; he wrote the music for 2016 Oscar-winning short, Stutterer, before suffering from a year of writer’s block and stress that affected his health. Through his delicate piano playing and thoughtful compositions, Nico paints beautiful portraits of life. Experience his crafted album of musical storytelling in the intimate setting of our foyer.
