Laura Gibson has a reputation for delivering intriguing lyrics in an unforgettable voice. Writing within the broad church of folk music layered with delicate shades of alt-country, her beautiful songs are framed with deceptive simplicity as she observes and remarks upon the human condition.
Joining Gibson will be the inimitable Karl Blau and the full might of his excellent band. In the two decades or so of his active career, Blau has released dozens of records, driven to cross-genre experimentation by a healthy sense of curiosity and an unrelenting DIY attitude.
