Children's Painting Workshop: Grief Encounter at Colston Hall Workshop Space 1
Event Cancelled

A event on Sunday 17th May. The event starts at 14:00.

This event is part of Good Grief Bristol, A Festival of Love and Loss. 11-17 May 2020 (https://goodgriefbristol.com/).

This is a workshop aimed at children between the ages of 3 and 13 (and parents/ carers are of course very welcome to join in!). The session will open with a whole-group free painting activity, to encourage children to express themselves freely and safely. We will move on to smaller breakout groups to get creative with arty activities based around the Grief Encounter Workbook which Shelley designed.

The adults present will be able to help their children and can also get involved to help their children 'normalise’ grief relief. They can discover new ways to help children learn to manage bereavement through creativity.

All painting materials will be supplied. It is recommended that those attending this workshop wear clothing they don't mind getting paint on.
