Tessellate vol. 1 brings you some of Bristol's finest newly signed talents at our first party ever.
Lineup as follows.
Robots with no soul - An experienced and seasoned DJ RWNS has been gaining recognition among some of the higher echelons of techno's currant and thriving scene.
Recently he has been featured on Eats Everything's well loved Radio 1 show as well as having his new track 'One Way Traffic' signed to Dense and Pika's new label Kneaded pains alongside fellow Bristol based artist Transistor Rhythms.
Needless to say this boy is on the rise fast and this is the first Bristol gig he's played in a while so he's not holding back. Expect pounding techno rhythms deep into the night.
Ramu - We have chosen Ramu as our appetizer for this evening for his selection of jazzy, chilled and left field music. Ramu is no stranger to Bristol's thriving music scene having grown up with influential venues owned by close family members.
He is the boss of Bristol based Honey Glazed Records. A label displaying a diverse and interesting range of off kilter yet smooth lo-fi house and funk and has released artists such as Appleblim and Arkist. He has also had multiple plays on Giles Peterson's 6music show making him one to watch.
Tessellate Residents:Talking Smack/Tom Lark -These two prolific DJs and producers that have graced nearly every dancefloor in Bristol for the past 3 years are the heads behind this new concept and have worked for a number of years waiting for the right venue and opportunity to do a regular party in Bristol.
Having played every club worth mentioning in the city for this amount of time they have between them gained a good knowledge and insight into the sound that drives Stokes Croft's bustling electronic music scene.
As it is their first night they will be taking the reigns for the mid section of the evening. Supplying you with a huge collection of electro/techno/house and breaks that will continue to leave you guessing.
