Not a b*rthday celebration at Cosy Club, 31 Corn Street, BS1 1HT

A event on Sunday 13th April. The event starts at 18:30.

Ever since my dad announced he was leaving really close to one of my birthdays, I've had a string of cursed birthdays and realised the only way to avoid disaster, is to never intentionally celebrate a birthday again. So, this workshop is a celebration of all things non-birthday... candles, cake and, most importantly, painting. Also, a portion of chips is included with every ticket.

THIS WORKSHOP IS AIMED AT PEOPLE WHO DON'T THINK THEY'RE GOOD AT PAINTING

(and who don't take themselves too seriously)

Essentially, we will be playing four different party games (think classic kids birthday games except we don't call them that for this event) and each game will provide prompts for what to paint in that round. You will all be in teams and painting on paper plates so there's an element of competition but no one is judging your painting skills. We just want to see enthusiasm. And no mention of the word b*rthday (otherwise your team loses points).

I've managed to secure a really lovely venue - the Peacock Room at Cosy Club on Corn Street. They have a pretty amazing cocktail selection and the workshop room is very close to the bar! We will have a drinks break half way through the session but you are also welcome to get more drinks at any time.

All painting materials and prizes will be provided.

Did I mention there's prizes?

Hope to see lots of you there and please please arrive on time as it will affect the game structure if some teams have people missing!

Over 18s only since it's at a cocktail bar.

Entry requirements: 18+
