See event details

A gig held at The Crafty Egg (Fishponds) on Saturday 3rd May. The event starts at 20:00.

Hibiscus are an up and coming neo-soul duo, based in Bristol. After meeting at college in Exeter, Eva and Lily have built a strong musical collaboration, strengthened by their palpable synergy and close friendship. Likened to artists such as Eloise, Cleo Sol and Nai Palm, their wholesome and tender songwriting draws from their experiences as young women navigating adulthood.

Opening the event is Anwen - a Bristol based singer-songwriter from London, writing intimate and expansive songs on guitar. Her influences include Gillian Welch, Georgia Harmer, Corinne Bailey Rae and Doris Day. By blending the sounds of Folk and Jazz, Anwen has created a dreamy world of music that is lyrically poetic and harmonically rich.

Expect a wholesome evening of emotive lyricism, intricate harmonies and refined musicianship!

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
