TALES OF THE FOREST LIVE PRESENTS: A Tree-mendous Community Picnic. Everyone is welcome for a feast of making, music and food! How can storytelling, art and collaboration form a path to more sustainable and inclusive futures? This is a free event for all ages. FEATURING: The Giant Picnic Blanket Art you can not only touch but sit on! Nestled between the trees you'll hardly know you're in the centre of Bristol as you relax on this installation made by art collective Frog & Bone. Free Family Workshops Craft workshops run by artists involved in the project, including mask making; clay creatures and willow crowns. Food Bring a picnic or something to nibble. Taste some intriguing tree themed snacks made by the tales of the Forest team. Art Access to Tales of the Forest Art Exhibition inside the Create Centre. Plus, unique opportunity to meet and chat with emerging artists! Storytelling & Live Music Have your say - become part of the book we are making! Help imagine more sustainable futures by sharing, creating and collecting stories about trees, woodlands and forests! ADDITIONAL INFO The Create Centre is a vibrant environmental centre which hosts a range of events and exhibitions and features a purpose-built Ecohome. There will be free parking available on the 22nd of June for the picnic. Create is fully wheelchair accessible.
