Kudos
Plus Special Guests Dirtsharks & Birdfeeder

Friday 26th January
The Crofters Rights (Room 2), Bristol
Entry 18+

kudos combine hard captivating guitar riffs with catchy choruses, and use guitar effects to incorporate psychedelic and shoegaze soundscapes with indie-style song writing. This is accompanied by a chaotic, yet tight and characterful rhythm section, influenced by elements of dance music, to create the unique sound of Kudos. In a live setting the band provides energetic and emotive performances that captivate and enthral audiences, combined with the recent addition of projected visuals to create an audio/visual experience

Dirtsharks carve their sonic territory with a blend of reverb aggression, dynamic sympathy, and scuzz-drenched chaos - taking influences from the likes of The National and Biffy Clyro. Their music is a vivid colour field where melodies meet ferocity and powerful violin solos.

Birdfeeder are a five-piece dark psych band that take cues from bands like The Wytches and Black Sabbath, infusing their sound with elements of post-punk and noise, with influences ranging from DITZ to Siouxsie and the Banshees. Intent on delivering an unsettling yet exciting sound, Birdfeeder convey themselves with conviction and intent with dark, doom riffs (delivered by guitarist Tom Holman) and unusual noise techniques (courtesy of Jack Wojtowycz) paired with a powerful rhythm section featuring bassist (Ed Thompson) and drummer (Max Dunstone), along with the despairing growl of their vocalist (Lucas Richards).

Entry requirements: 18+
