Easy People w/ Joe at Crofters Rights

A clubnight held at The Croft on Friday 27th March. The event starts at 23:00.

After a bit of a hiatus we are back, presenting not one but two of the most exciting DJs in the UK right now!

Joe (HESSLE AUDIO / HEMLOCK RECORDINGS)
---------------------------------------
Joe is known for his idiosyncratic, floor-filling productions for Hessle Audio and Hemlock Recordings. Tunes like “Slope,” “Claptrap," and “Tail Lift” have become trusty weapons for some of the world’s biggest (and most adventurous) DJs. His sets speak to years spent picking through rare groove, soul, funk, techno, disco, garage and jazz, soaking up Theo Parrish’s sets at Plastic People and absorbing London’s soundsystem culture. You’ll hear gems that traverse eras and genres, tied together not by a single sound but by a shared sensibility—one that’s serious yet playful, rough yet soulful, intricate yet functional.

Sofay (NTS / NUMBERS)
---------------------------------------
Dubbed as Glasgow's most exciting emerging selector, Sofay is an exceptional selector with a versatile approach - as comfortable creating hypnotic vibes using dubby minimalism and sublime oddities as she is fusing curious electro, techno and house. Gaining exposure within and outside of the UK Sofay has been invited by Palms Trax and Midland for their residencies in London, and by Optimo to Nachtdigital and their 20th anniversary events last year. Set to play at both Houghton and Dekmantel Selectors 2020, her rise to the top seems imminent.
