Nile Robinson & The Countrymen ALBUM RELEASE SHOW at Crofters Rights
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Ramshackle alt-country meets freak folk in Nile Robinson & The Countrymen. Imagine if Jeff Tweedy, Bob Dylan and Daniel Johnston started a wonky lo-fi side project, now add in support from 7-piece weirdo-pop girlies The Freakshow and this smells like an emerging anti-folk scene - we’re here for it. Big FFO: Kurt Vile, Alex G, The Tallest Man On Earth, Diane Cluck, Michael Hurley."

A gig held at Crofters Rights on Friday 8th December. The event starts at 19:30.

Nile Robinson & The Countrymen are playing Crofters Rights to celebrate the release of the brand new album 'Stray Carnations'

Playing original tunes with a high and ancient Folk & Country energy and supported The Freakshow - 7 Bristol Based Girlys making Folky Pop Chaos. Freakshow are great man, remind me of sort of a coven of latter-day witches, could fuck around and get cursed. I've been to their headquarters and seen there was a dead rat and a bowl with maggots in it in the back yard. Seems akin to witchcraft to me, or the occult, something creepy anyhow

But much like the handle of a javelin, that's besides the point and The Brand New Nile Robinson album will release on the 8th of December and I want you all to come and be there with us!

Entry requirements: 18+
