RAINBOW GRAVE at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Friday 8th May. The event starts at 19:30.

Featuring Nicholas Bullen (founding member of Napalm Death and Scorn) and John Pickering (founding member of DOOM and Sore Throat), Birmingham based Rainbow Grave channel the blank despair of negative punk through layers of distorted psychedelic damage: dirty guitars, freeform pedal abuse and effected vocals coagulate around cyclic bass and drum rhythms in repetitive and minimal structures.

After a 7” split and a 7” single, Rainbow Grave released their debut album last July via God Unknown records. “No You” is the sound of disappointment, heartbreak and emptiness.

No You is brutal and sharp, they’re going to stick it in your guts and grin. - Echoes and Dust

“Listen to Rainbow Grave. Because you’re not worth it” - The Quietus

“A sludgestastic rumbler that out-Melvins the melvins” - Shinding
