Hot Buttered Soul: Mike Shawe + Sam Don at Crofters Rights
See event details

A clubnight held at Crofters Rights on Saturday 11th September. The event starts at 23:00.

SAM DON is an integral part of the London music scene, a renowned record hound, charasmatic DJ and Broadcaster seen regularly playing with DJs such as Glenn Underground, Hunee, John Gomez and Maurice Fulton to name a few.

Sam has been busy running his hugely successful Free Association party at Brilliant Corners and warehouse parties across the city. He also hosts a popular monthly radio show of the same name on Netil Radio and is a regular guest on NTS.

A recent collaboration with Athens Of The North label founder Euan Fryer gave birth to the revered For The Love Of You compilation, a collection of sought-after Lovers Rock covers.

Seemlessly crossing genre boundaries whilst remaining true to his underground roots, Sam is adept at whipping-up a dance floor into a frenzy! We can't wait to have him along to tear up The Crofters back room. Joining him on the night Hot Buttered Soul's Kung Fu record weasel MIKE SHAWE.

Music spanning Modern Soul - Boogie - Disco - House - Afro - Lovers Rock - Street Soul
