Wargirl at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Saturday 14th March. The event starts at 20:00.

WARGIRL are three women and three men who were brought together by their eclectic West Coast life, their love for freedom and liberation and their burning passion to put on intense party like live shows.

Inspired by The Clash, Sade, classic reggae and afrobeat, the band boil it all together to create a gorgeous garage gusto with luscious, psychedelic sounds. Their mission? To reject capitalist power structures and to empower their fellow humans through love and kindness. “Through their crack rhythm section and keyboardist, the group ropes in funk, psychedelia and Latin beats into their sound, creating music that is timeless, refreshing and effortlessly cool,” (The Indy Review).
