A
gig
held at Crofters Rights
on Saturday 16th June. The event starts at 19:30.
After our first European tour, It is with great pleasure that we are back in Bristol to introduce you our new record, new songs, a psychedelic light show plus some more surprises.
We are going totally DIY with this one so It would mean a lot to us to see you all there, at The Crofters Rights, a venue that we love.
On a more formal note, Stolen Body Records, Bristol tastemakers, have edited a rather gorgeous limited edition vinyl of our last recording, it is out and we will have it there for you to purchase. It sounds great and we would love to share the joy with you there.
We are very thankful to have Domestic Sound Cupboard and High Climbers for special guests.
DSC are an improv collective with members past and present from acts such as Ep/64, Iceman Furniss, Jilk, Action Beat, Ocean Floor, Run Logan Run, Saltings, Snazzback and several more.
Helping herald a new eclectic and accessible but no less intense scene in Bristol for Avant Garde music, for the past 5 years they have hosted The Sound Cupboard, a monthly night, currently held at The Crofters Rights promoting Bristolian and beyond experimental music.
HIGH CLIMBERS began as primitive bedroom sessions between Karim and Mike back in early 2013. Their initial inability to communicate verbally paved the way for a special musical language to form.
In mid-2016 they met power couple Rob and Susie, who by some stroke of luck played the very instruments lacking in High Climbers, Bass and Drums. Thankfully the two didn't need any convincing and in mid-2017 the group officially squared.
High Climbers play mood music with the aid of guitars, keys, and voices and are committed to bridging the cultural divide.
