Dial Africa w/ Ru Robinson & Stay Put at Crofters Rights

A clubnight held at The Croft on Saturday 21st September. The event starts at 23:00.

Our next event brings you Ru Robinson (Tropical Tea Party) and Stay Put (Noods Radio). Both of these outfits have been putting on some great parties of their own and are sure to bring a fine selection of music in their own different styles. Expect to hear a variety of tropical styles from Africa and beyond!

Ru Robinson

Ru Robinson is known for exciting and eclectic DJ sets served up with an infectious smile.

His broad collection of music is lovingly selected for the dance floor, spanning the diverse tropical flavours of Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean, whilst dipping and delving in to countless other party sounds.

Highly active, Ru has performed at interesting club nights and events all across the UK and occasionally further afield, including Uganda in 2017.

With huge enthusiasm for live music and involvement in the UK scene, he has also had the honour of sharing the stage as supporting DJ with artists such as Femi Kuti, Bassekou Kouyaté and Novalima.

Stay put:

Three guys playing lovely rhythms from around the globe. They have previously thrown parties with special guests like Mr Bongo. Check their radio show on Noods for a taster of what you might hear on the night

Dial Africa will be nicing up the place with a warm selection of 70s and 80s music from across Africa and beyond!
